Description
This course is an introductory course in Biology with main emphasis on cell structure and function. Topics include the inner workings of cells including cell structures, transport mechanisms, cellular respiration and photosynthesis.
Genetics and manipulation of DNA (by cells and scientists) will also be looked at. Laboratory experience is integrated with classroom lecture; therefore, they are taken together as a single, 4-credit course.
