Description

A general study of common and newly emerging microorganism & their characteristics in rel ation to health and control of disease. Spec ial emphasis is placed on the concept of asep sis and surgical environment. Focus will be on the Surgical Technologist' role in mainta ining aseptic technique with emphasis placed on safety and infection control.
