This course focuses on understanding the grow th and development of infants and toddlers, a nd planning curriculum for the child under th ree years of age. Emphasis will be placed on the whole child's development; physical, cogn itive, social and emotional growth. Understa nding growth and development will be the basi s for planning curriculum for infants and tod dlers in group care, family day care, qs well as parent/child activities. This course ful fills the OFC requirements for an Infant/Todd ler curriculum course.
