Description
This course traces the development and growth of television from a technical curiosity to a global industry that enters households to e ntertain, inform and influence our cultural v alues. This overview of television, from the early days of realtime broadcast to satellit e-delivered, 24 hour cable TV, includes an ex amination of the evolution of TV programming, news coverage and advertising, and its influ ence on culture, politics and history
