Description
This course focuses on issues that affect par actical nursing. Content includes the ethica l and legal rights and professional responsib ilities of the nurse. Leadership styles, man agement techniques, quality assurance, resume preparation, job interviewing skills, prepar ation for the NCLEX-PN licensure examination and the practical nurse's responsibility for delegation and supervision of activities are presented. The course examines the role tran sition that occurs with the change from stude nt to practitioner.
