Yet the modern “softly softly” approach has a near 100% failure rate. If you would call an obese relative out on their weight, diet or health, then why not call out a pushover or a coward on his weakness? Modern men are often pushed and pushed to feminize themselves, often to their own detriment. Yet many believe they are doing good by themselves and others. Many more choose the option because it’s easy, even if some don’t agree with it. Calling out delusion and laziness/cowardliness shouldn’t be as taboo as using racial slurs.

Also, is your name from the general expression or the Viz character? Just curious.

I have only told one other man to “man up” and the context was a challenge to fight. I was intending to accuse the guy of cowardice and weakness. It was a tough situation he could save his reputation by meeting the challenge and risk both injury and getting fired (it was at work) or he could puss out.

He pussed out and he got fired despite my escalating to a fight. By taking the risk I gained some respect from the crew and inoculated myself against being the bitch who puts up chickenshit.

@YOHAMI: That there are such weak people as that in the world further proves my point that we need to do something about them. It’s a kick up the rear-end or eugenics, as far as I’m concerned.
